This course deals with various fundamental aspects of convective heat transfer. Basic mechanisms of convective heat transfer and the methods of analysis are going to be discussed in depth. Major topics to be covered in this course are the laminar/turbulent heat transfer in internal/external flows under the conditions of forced and natural convections. Also, some important aspects of phase-change heat transfer and the convection in porous media will be discussed. The students are assumed to have taken the introductory courses on fluid mechanics and heat transfer. The course is going to be taught in English.
